Sat Sar Mala Lakes Kaghan Valley

A few kilometers beyond Lulusar a small stream drops in the lake which originates from the mythical string of seven lakes aka “sat-sar mala”.  The prelude of this series can be read at Exploring lakes in the valleys of flowers.

Sat Sar Mala lakes are 7 lakes that are closely location. These are 7 different lakes in steps. Water from each lake falls in the next one so that’s why named it Sat Sri Mala. “Sat” means seven and “Sri” means head in local language.

Almost 2 hours Trek From Lululsar Lake and then reached the first lake. The trek is too steep and difficult for Beginners.
