It’s again time to wish you Happy spring blossom season from the land of Hunza Valley.

The blossoms have already started in lower Hunza and will soon begin to spread toward the north. Cherry blossoms start blooming earlier in Karimabad, Hunza than other regions and unfortunately, While it is nice to simply appreciate the transient beauty of the blossoms at the places known for blooming cherry blossom trees, the time to enjoy it needs to be accurate.  The much renowned Hunza valley is often referred to as heaven on earth, enveloped in the grand Himalayas and the Karakoram mountain ranges, this place has been a great tourist attraction for many years.

The beginning of Cherry blossoms (Sakura) signals the end of chilly winter weather in Hunza and Nagar valleys. The blossom season starts from the first week of April and ends by the mid of April (depends on altitude). Cherry blossom viewing began in ancient times when aristocrats wrote poetry and sang songs under the flowering trees of Cherry. The Japanese like cherry blossom because the shape and color of the petals reflect people’s ideal notion of purity and simplicity. They are also touched by the blossoms that they are so fragile short-lived scattering just a few days after the flower. Every time there is the slightest breeze, a shower of cherry-blossom petals is produced. At the same time one can also view the blossom of Apricot, Apples and Pears in the valley of Hunza.

This exciting spring blossom tour will take you to the dramatic and enchanting valleys of the Hunza and Nagar (Gilgit-Baltistan) of Pakistan. Lush green fertile valleys with high quality delicious fruit are fed by springs and glacial streams flowing from the lofty snow capped mountains. Karakoram Highway and River Indus is a constant feature of the region.

In March and April the view of of Baltistan and Hunza Nagar valleys are incredible, though it remain spectacular throughout the year. The best time of year to visit Hunza is April to October. From spring to autumn the valleys are more attractive, all three fabulous seasons have their own unique charm, which cannot be described in words but can only be felt. In the spring season the field and orchards come alive with blossom of different natural colours in the villages.

Spring being the beginning of season usually from early April welcomes you to the Northern Areas. Hunza & Nagar in Blossom present an aesthetic panorama. The lush green terraced fields surrounded by blooming trees and the village itself guarded by snow bound sky kissing mountains displaying scene enough to overwhelms visitors.

Moreover, besides the appealing vistas, the fragrance emanating in the villages add charm to the visual beauty. This breathtaking tour in beautiful spring in the north gives you the huge variety of natural splendors. This panorama can be seen throughout in the North along the KKH and off the road.
